Rita is responsible for KSCPA CPE initiatives, including working with conference committees on planning and speaker selection, as well as maintaining the events on the KSCPA Learning Hub webpage. She keeps apprised of technical topics in the accounting profession and legislative issues at the state and national level, working with the advocacy task force and their agenda for the year. She also serves as the Ethics Committee Liaison. Gathering and synthesizing KSCPA information through data analytics to help guide the organization is also part of Rita's role at KSCPA. Rita graduated from Washburn University with a BBA in accounting and joined the KSCPA Team in 2011.
